Digital Asset Management systems are usually very powerful and encompassing solutions. They cover most common file types and a great variety of metadata standards. Due to such a broad approach, most of these systems carry quite a bit of complexity, cost or overlap with other systems in place.

The Final Candidate works with many of the leading DAM vendors to apply their products for customers that have diverse needs around their digital assets. However, we sometimes come across customers who need nothing more than a single additional feature to be added to their SharePoint server, in order to manage their digital assets. Often, we found that more than one customer required the same feature. This led us to start developing "point products" which address such specific requests from our customers.

Today, The Final Candidate announces the first three products:

• Image Zoom 4SP (automatically prepares high-res files for performing zoom access)
• IPTC and XMP iFilter 4SP (enables search on standard image metadata)
• IPTC and XMP Extractor 4SP (reads standard image metadata  and makes it available in SharePoint)

The Final Candidate will continue to release such "point products" for particular customer needs. Our aim is to reduce complexity and cost. Companies can now choose the functionality they really need, acquire it at low cost and avoid custom development expense.

These products will be easily identifiable under the new brand.
